With 56.16% of the voting districts declared in the Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality, the African National Congress is leading followed by the Democratic Alliance and the Economic Freedom Fighters in third place.
The Mangaung Metro has a population of 787 804 people. In the 2016 Municipal elections, 426 038 people were registered to vote and only 57.7% of the registered voters cast their vote.
