A memorial service for Mpumalanga Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison spokesperson Joseph Mabuza will be held on Thursday at the Communio church in Mbombela.
Provincial dignitaries and officials are expected to be among the mourners.
Mabuza died on Sunday after his motorbike collided with a bakkie that made a sudden U-turn on the N4 toll road at Hectorspruit east of Malelane.
Police are still looking for the driver of the bakkie, who fled the scene after the crash.
