The three firefighters who died in a blaze at the Bank of Lisbon building in the Johannesburg CBD last week will be remembered on Wednesday.
The memorial service will take place at the Ellis Park Arena in Johannesburg.
Simphiwe Moropane, Khathutshelo Muedi and Mduduzi Ndlovu, together with their colleagues were trying to put out the fire that started on the 23rd floor of the building housing three provincial government departments.
Johannesburg Emergency Services Spokesperson Robert Mulaudzi says the service will start at 10 o’clock with a wreath laying on site of the incident.
After that the service will move to the main memorial service which will be at the Ellis park arena from 11:30.
