Eastern Cape Arts and Culture MEC Pemmy Majodina has sent condolences to the families of the victims of the collision that claimed the lives of TV producer and actor, Akhumzi Jezile, actor Thobani Mseleni and singer Siyasanga Kobese.

The trio and two others were travelling on the N6  between Komani, formerly known as Queenstown, and Jamestown when a trailer pulling a vehicle was disjointed from the car, and hit their vehicle.

MEC Majodina has described the trio as heroes who made a huge mark in the entertainment industry.

“These are the people who have made a mark in the society. They have lived a very short life but a very productive life. We are saying to their families, to the community at large let them leave with peace, let them rest in the eternal peace. They’ve made their mark. It is up to you and me to pick up the spear where it has fallen and move forward to fulfil the values that they stood for.”
