Limpopo Premier Stan Mathabatha will on Tuesday morning hold two separate meetings with Sekgopo chief Kgosikgadi Mokgadi Sekgopo and protesting community members in the village outside in Tzaneen.

Community members have been protesting for more than two weeks calling for the replacement of Sekgopo by William Matsorwane.

Mathabatha on Friday announced that the Kgatla Commission on Traditional Leadership had concluded its hearings on chieftainship claims and disputes.

He said that more than 400 royal houses presented before the commission.

Mathabatha added that he would be sending letters with the commission’s recommendations to the affected royal houses.

Further, he would be pronouncing who between Sekgopo and Matsorwane should occupy the throne.

The commission’s recommendations can only be reviewed by a court of law.
