A man has died and two others were seriously injured after being shot in an attempted hijacking on the M17 in Soshanguve North of Pretoria on Friday night.
Netcare 911 spokesperson Nick Dollman says the victims were all between the ages of twenty-five and thirty-years-old.
“Reports from the scene allege that the victims stopped their vehicle to attend to a tyre puncture when they were attacked. One man was in a critical condition. Another man had sustained serious injuries.”
“They were stabilised by paramedics at the scene before being transported by hospital for further care. Tragically, the third victim sustained severe injuries and died on the scene … SAPS were on the scene and investigating the incident,” adds Dollman.
