Man accused of raping domestic worker back in court

Reading Time: < 1 minute

The case of a 45-year-old man who allegedly raped his domestic worker and forced her to perform acts of bestiality will resume in the Bronkhorstspruit Magistrate’s Court on Thursday morning.

The man is facing seven charges which include three counts of rape, kidnapping, three counts of sexual assault and malicious damage to property.

He is expected to bring a bail application after the matter was postponed last week.

It is alleged that the suspect locked the victim into a room when she was supposed to knock off.

The accused then barricaded the door with a steel table, forcing her to perform unspeakable sexual acts on the man and the dogs.

The matter has sparked outrage with various organisations expected to picket outside court in support of the victim.
