As South Africa celebrates its heritage month this September, young people are encouraged to share their indigenous knowledge, according to the heritage theme this year. The issue of male circumcision and the way in which it is conducted both traditionally and modern, is a topic that proved worthy to be reflected upon.
Dumisile Masuku, intern at the SABC Digital News spoke to two young people and got to hear some of their views on the two different forms of male circumcision, as a way to help them express their indigenous culture.
