The Queen of Pop has, after much speculation, announced that she will perform as part of New York City’s Gay Pride Celebrations later this month.
Universal Music South Africa says Madonna will sing at the Stonewall 50 event on Sunday, 30 June at New York’s Hudson River Park.
This will be ten days after the release of her much anticipated 14th studio album called, “Madame X”.
Madonna’s recent appearance at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest spectacle in Tel Aviv, Israel made news headlines on the 18th of May.
The superstar opened her set with her controversial and provocative 1989 smash hit, “Like A Prayer”.
The stage was propped to resemble an ancient Israeli church, with back-up choir-come-dancers dressed in traditional monk attire.
