Thousands of holiday-makers will travel from various provinces to Limpopo as well as neighbouring countries for Easter’s holidays.

In the meantime, ZCC pilgrims will travel to the church headquarters in Moria outside Polokwane for their annual Easter gathering.

The Health Department in Limpopo says its facilities are ready to help treat the influx of patients who will be visiting the province during the Easter holidays.

MEC Phophi Ramathuba unveiled a new fleet of 36 ambulances as part of the Emergency Medical Services. Ramathuba says most hospitals and clinics will be running with adequate resources.

“We are indeed ready,  we have not only focused on the emergency medical services, but equally our hospitals in terms of doctors designated for running twenty four hour services so that we do not make mistakes and in case there would be a disaster we know that our doctors will not be going away far from the area, they can be called to come and assist.”
