Leopards upbeat ahead of Wits clash

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Black Leopards Head Coach Dylan Kerr says Wednesday night’s Absa Premiership match away at Bidvest Wits is an enormous one for both sides.

The two teams meet at the Bidvest Stadium at 19:30, on Wednesday with Leopards needing maximum points for a little breather from the relegation-threatened group.

The Limpopo side is placed 12th on the PSL standings with 26 points from 25 matches while Wits are third with 44 points from 26 outings.

Kerr wants his players to get one over Wits who have beaten them twice in the league and cup this season.

Kerr believes that Li Doda Duvha matched the Clever Boys in the two earlier meetings this season which gives him confidence for Wednesday night.

The coach also wants his charges to not leave goalscoring responsibilities solely to Mwape Musonda.

Kerr is expecting Wits to come hard at Leopards considering Mamelodi Sundowns’ league result on Tuesday.

The Briton has also warned his defense to be on alert in the box.
