The KwaZulu-Natal African National Congress Task Team has resolved to reconvene the aborted eighth ANC elective conference next weekend.
The task team established to iron out challenges that the ANC provincial leadership is facing held a marathon meeting with aggrieved party members, who had successfully requested the High Court in Pietermaritzburg to interdict the provincial conference.
The co-ordinator of the provincial task team Sihle Zikalala says the aggrieved party members committed to holding further discussions and dropping the court case.
He also says they have addressed the issue of delegates who will attend the provincial elective conference.
