The KPMG announced they would not renew their sponsorship of the professional Running Club and the Vorentoe Running Academy.
The club was part of then CEO Trevor Hoole’s #Fitforbusiness initiative, which sought to make employee wellness an integral part of the firm’s development moving forward.
They said the decision was taken following a strategic reshape of the business in June.
Head of financial services in the Western Cape and chairman of the Club Pierre Jacobs says they are working hard to gain another corporate as a sponsor, “We had three absolutely wonderful years with KPMG.”
The club has names such as Caroline Wostmann, Rene Kalmer, Nolene Conrad and Kesa Molotsane in its stable.
