Australian reality star host, Jordan Bruno, has been crowned Mr Gay World at a glittering ceremony in Knysna in the Southern Cape.

24-year-old Bruno is also the winner of Australia’s Mr Gay Pride 2018 competition.

Nineteen contestants from around the world took part in the event.

It coincided with Knysna’s week-long annual Pink Loerie and Mardi Gras Arts festival.

Bruno says he wants to make a difference in the world and champion the rights of the LBGTI community.

“The panel of judges that selected me are role models and mentors of this community. So I’m gonna run with the title they have given me and I’m gonna do my work on an international scale. Try and unite the LGBTI people and hopefully we can make an international change that we can feel across the world.”
