Joburg Zoo will be celebrating mothers later on Sunday through its annual Mothers’ Day concert which is now taking place for the 30th time.
The event honours the mother of the family as well as motherhood, maternal bonds and the influence of mothers in a society. It attracts about 10 000 people annually and offers entertainment that the whole family can enjoy.
Beyond just the music, the event will offer a serene environment where audiences can hear the sounds of the animals in the background.
