The Johannesburg Roads Agency has suspended its top management over tender irregularities.
On Monday, the Johannesburg Roads Agency’s board adopted the findings of a series of forensic investigations which implicated senior management within the entity and initiated disciplinary processes.
Former Managing Director of Johannesburg Roads Agency, Dr Sean Phillips says many of the irregularities happened under Mayor Herman Mashaba’s administration.
Phillips says the mayor must be consistent when it comes to tackling corruption.
