India have become the second side to reach the semi-finals of the ICC 2019 Cricket World Cup.

The Indians beat a stubborn Bangladesh by 28 runs to move to thirteen points on the standings, just a single point behind leaders Australia.

Bangladesh remain seventh on the log. India won the toss and decided to bat first.

India started well with the partnership of Rohit Sharma and K.L Rahul getting to 180 in 20 overs. But India lost their way a little bit after that opening stand, losing wickets at regular intervals. At the end Bangladesh restricted India to 314 for nine. In reply India started brightly with Bangladesh two wickets down in the 15th over.

Bangladesh offered a lot of resistance but at the end India wrapped it up in great style, winning the match by 28 runs.
