Zimbabwe fuel protests intensify following the recent fuel hike in the country. The Zimbabwean government announced a 150% fuel increase last week. A fuel pump price of $3,11 per litre for diesel and $3, 31 per litre for petrol.
Guests of government by way of foreign missions and other registered foreign bodies and tourists will fuel and refuel at designated points at the price of $1,24 per litre for diesel and $2,2 per litre for petrol.
It now costs over R43 to buy a litre of petrol in the country. Shops remain closed and communication lines, including internet and phone connectivity, have been interrupted.
