IFP in Gauteng to elect new provincial leader

The Inkatha Freedom Party  (IFP) in Gauteng will elect a new provincial leadership this weekend.

The party hopes the elected officials will help secure it maximum voter support ahead of the 2021 municipal elections.

The elective conference to be held at the Boksburg Civic centre on Gauteng’s Eastrand from midday on Saturday will be led by the party’s National Treasurer and MP, Narend Singh.

“We will be discussing issues that would develop Gauteng and the IFP to make sure we become kingmakers in the 2021 elections. We want to make sure we come up with strategies of ensuring all our public representatives are on the ground. working and consulting with people, and ensuring that we are consulting with people and implementing on the resolutions of the same conference,” says IFP Gauteng spokesperson Musa Ngobeni.
