The South African Weather Services says residents should brace themselves for heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning across KwaZulu-Natal.
“There’s a 60% chance of showers and thundershowers expected over the entire province. There is also a warning for severe thunderstorms over the entire province for Saturday,” says forecaster Stacy Colborne .
“There are pretty much chances of showers and thundershowers on Sunday afternoon, as well as on Monday, 30% of chances of showers and thunder showers – please take precautions. When going out there will be lightning associated with thunderstorm as well as strong winds and some heavy downpours,” says Colborne
