President Cyril Ramaphosa will this week host German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier who is in the country on a state visit.

The ceremony to welcome him will be on Tuesday at Tuynhuys. President Steinmeier is the first Germany President to official visit the country since 1998.
Germany is a key partner in the South African economy, being one the largest foreign investors.
It has more than 600 companies employing an estimated 100 000 people.
The visit is expected to culminate in the signing of trade and investment agreements.
