The Department of Energy has confirmed that fuel prices will decrease at midnight Tuesday.
The price of 93 octane petrol will go down by 29 cents a litre and 95octane petrol by 34 cents a litre.
A litre of 93 octane fuel will cost R14.20 inland.
The price of diesel will fall by 26 cents a litre and illuminating paraffin by 22 cents.
This comes after the rand strengthened following the election of Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa as African National Congress (ANC) president.
