Limpopo traffic authorities say at least five people were burnt beyond recognition and several others injured in this morning’s collision between a truck and a minibus on the N1 between Modimolle and Mookgophong.
Both vehicles burst into flames during the crash.
The highway between Kranskop and Mookgophong has been closed to traffic.
Traffic spokesperson Matome Moremi-Taueatsoala says they are still investigating the cause of the crash.
