The Freedom Front Plus will host a press conference at Parliament on land expropriation without compensation on Thursday. This comes ahead of Friday’s deadline for the public to comment.
The FF-Plus says it has more than 100 000 signatures on petitions of protest by members of the public opposing the concept, which has been approved by the National Assembly.
FF-Plus spokesperson, Pieter Swart, says they will hand over the petitions to the Joint Constitutional Review committee that was mandated to consider changes to legislation on land ownership.
