Exhibition of writings by Tutu to open

An exhibition featuring various writings by Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu is due to officially open in the Mother City in the coming weeks. The Desmond and Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation says the exhibition is aimed at preserving the legacy of the Arch.

The Foundation’s Acting Chief Executive Officer Razaan Bailey says the Archbishop who turned 87 last Sunday will be present during the launch. He has been hospitalised for a series of tests.

“ This exhibition is called “In his Words”,  a selection of writings, and reflections, from his note books written on A4 papers, sermons and speeches, it will show how his thoughts developed over time and consistency in the message the Archbishop always stood for right up until today, that we are all human beings ,” says Bailey.
