South African Rugby Coach Rassie Erasmus has made three changes to the forwards in his starting line-up for the important match against Italy at the Rugby World Cup on Friday.
Front rowers Beast Mtawarira and Bongi Mbonambi come in for Steven Kitschoff and Malcolm Marx, while Lood de Jager replaces Franco Mostert.
Vincent Koch comes onto the bench to replace the injured Trevor Nyakane.
Jesse Kriel was not considered because of a hamstring problem.
Italy won their first two games at the World Cup against Namibia and Canada; so this is a must win game for the Boks.
