England wins toss and elect to bat

England won the toss and elected to bat in the second test against hosts South Africa in Cape Town. The visitors lost early wickets and are currently 149 for four at the tea break.

The Proteas made only one change for the match after handing Pieter Malan his test debut.

Malan is replacing the injured opener Aiden Markram.

England went into the match with three changes.

Proteas front line bowlers Vernon Philander and Kagiso Rabada have claimed two English wickets in the first session of the match and England went into the lunch time break with the score on 67.
