On 8 May 2019, the African Christian Democratic Party (ACDP) will be participating in the National and Provincial elections in all nine provinces

The African Christian Democratic Party was founded by Kenneth Meshoe in 1993, who leads the party to this day.

ACDP Election Manifesto 2019:

The party has participated in every national, provincial and local government election since 1994.

In the 1994 national assembly the party won 2 seats out of 400. In 2014, the ACDP managed to secure 3 out of 400 seats in Parliament.

In most provinces, the ACDP has secured either 1 or 2 seats in the Provincial Legislatures. It has entered into coalitions with the Democratic Alliance (DA) and other parties in provinces and local governments where the ANC had not secured a majority in 2009, 2014 and 2016.
