Zimbabwe’s Zanu-PF has criticised the opposition MDC Alliance’s decision to approach the African Union to review the election results.
Secretary for legal affairs, Paul Mangwana, says that MDC Alliance’s intended application will not change the outcome of the Constitutional Court’s decision in that country.
The court in Zimbabwe confirmed Emmerson Mnangagwa as president last week. Mangwana says the Constitutional Court decision is final.
Mnangagwa was inaugurated on Sunday.
