EFF calls on students to report to universities for free education

EFF leader Julius Malema has called on former matriculants who want to further their education to report to academic institution of their choice in 2018.  This follows President Jacob Zuma’s announcement earlier in December of free education for poor students.

In a statement posted on social media, Malema said those who have obtained matric previously but couldn’t afford tertiary education should now register.

Malema says the party will be at the gates of all learning institutions to make sure that even those who cannot afford to pay fees are attended to.

Malema says they will make sure that academically deserving students are admitted freely at universities and FET colleges. He says even those who had opted to find work because they could not afford university fees must report to academic institutions of their choice.
