Edward Zuma, the son of former President Jacob Zuma says his father remains stress free and convinced of his innocence.
He was among the hundreds of pro-Zuma supporters gathered outside the Durban High Court, dressed in ANC colours, earlier on Friday.
Zuma spoke to the SABC – and says his father is the victim of a conspiracy.
“It lasted for over 15 years – and it’s not about to stop now, we are well aware. We know who the culprits are, and in time, if court proceedings unfold, such individuals will be exposed. He has always said he’s stress free. You would always stress if you know are guilty. But if you know consciously you are innocent, there’s nothing to stress about.”
The former President is facing 16 charges including 12 of fraud and one of racketeering.
