Eastern Cape football teams, Chippa United and Amavarara have been drawn apart in the Nedbank Cup round of 16.
Chippa United will meet fellow Absa Premiership outfit, Bidvest Wits in Johannesburg, while the Komani based Amavarara will travel to Thohoyandou in Limpopo, to play against Premiership side, Black Leopards.
The round of 16 starts on February 24th.
Amavarara is the first team from the Chris Hani District Municipality to reach the Nedbank Cup round of 16.

Club chairman, Lusapho Mzwakali, has mixed feelings about the draw.
“The draw is genuinely fair. But it’s mixed feelings about the distance, mixed feelings about the heat in Thohoyandou. It’s only the conditions of the place, not the opponent.”
