Democratic Alliance (DA) leader Mmusi Maimane says the dream of a better life for all, promised in 1994, is fast becoming a nightmare. He was speaking at his party’s 2019 national election campaign launch at the Mary Fitzgerald Square in Johannesburg on Saturday.
The campaign also saw the introduction of the core team that will lead the DA’s campaign drive across the country.
The team comprises of all the DA’s Premier candidates, and other party bigwigs like John Steenhuizen and Magushule Gana.
Maimane said under the African National Congress (ANC) government, the realisation of the 1994 hopes and dreams have been deferred.
