Mitigating and aggravating factors prior to the sentencing of Pastor Lethebo Rabalago, who has been found guilty of spraying congregants with the Doom insecticide, are expected to be heard in the Mookgopong magistrate’s court in Limpopo on Thursday.

Pastor Rabalago was convicted on eight charges, five for assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, and the rest for contravention of an Act prohibiting the unlawful use of agricultural remedies.

The state is calling for a prison sentence – however he is out on a warning, pending his sentencing.
