The May national elections are looming and it’s important that the youth have their voices heard but how many young people have registered to vote?
The IEC has said they need the youth, who are closing in on forming half of the population, to come out and vote.
SAfm’s Talking Point spoke to Managing Director at Youth Lab, Pearl Pillay, about the importance of the youth voting and being a part of the future but firstly registering to do so.
Do the youth understand the process that leads up to elections? Will they turn out to vote on the 8th of May 2019?
