DA leader Mmusi Maimane has slammed the ANC, saying it has failed to take charge of border control in South Africa.
On Monday Maimane was in the Free State to garner support for the party ahead of the May General Elections.
His first stop was in Manyatseng, Ladybrand, east of Bloemfontein, on the DA’s Kasi to Kasi elections campaign.
He says if the DA wins the elections, it will make sure that there’s good diplomatic ties with neighbouring countries.
Maimane says there’s a need for border control and stability.
He says the DA will make sure that the borders are secure.
“Furthermore we will make sure that we give registration to all citizens and non citizens because when people are registered you can protect their rights, you can ensure that there is proper policing and allocation of resources.”
