The Democratic Alliance has appointed Solly Malatsi as its second national spokesperson. The Federal Executive says it took a decision to appoint an additional spokesperson in order to fully capacitate the party’s media and communications operation ahead of the 2019 General Elections.
The 33-year-old Malatsi will serve alongside Refiloe Nt’sekhe. The DA says the Limpopo Member of Parliament brings with him strong political and communications expertise.
He previously served as a spokesperson in both the Western Cape Provincial Government and the City of Cape Town.
Malatsi is currently the DA Shadow Minister of Human Settlements.
