Preshalin Naidoo who has been convicted of culpable homicide for the killing of Top Billing presenter, Simba Mhere and his friend Kady-Shay O’Bryan is expected to be sentenced in the Randburg magistrate’s on Thursday.
Mhere and O’Bryan died when their car collided with Naidoo’s in January 2015.
He was found guilty on two counts of culpable homicide as well as negligent and reckless driving.
Naidoo’s car tracker had recorded 37 incidents of him exceeding the speed limit.
At his last court appearance, the defence asked for the matter to be postponed because a report by the probation officer was incomplete.
