The United Nations Development Program Administrator Achim Steiner says only free, fair and credible elections will contribute towards the rebuilding of Zimbabwe’s economy.
It collapsed under former President Robert Mugabe 37 years rule.
Achim Steiner is in Zimbabwe as part of the UN program to assist countries on the continent with development projects.
Speaking to the SABC News team, he says Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa has made commitment ensuring that the upcoming elections meet International standard.
