The Randburg Magistrate’s Court is on Wednesday expected to deliver judgment in the Simba Mhere culpable homicide case.
The Top Billing presenter and his friend Kady-Shay O’Brayan were killed in a car crash on William Nicol drive in Fourways, Johannesburg in 2015.
They were on their way to the airport when the crash happened.
Motorist Preshalin Naidoo has been charged with two counts of culpable homicide.
The defence claim mechanical failure and not speed caused the fatal crash but a car tracking device has shown that Naidoo was travelling at 166 kilometres per hour before crashing into Mhere’s car.
