Freedom day celebrations at the Union Buildings in Pretoria began in a colourful manner as a cultural street parade hit the streets of the Capital city. Various cultures were on show for the thousands of residents who took the opportunity to witness this spectacle.
The parade kicked off at Freedom Park and travelled a distance of 5.5Km as they made their way to the South Lawn at the Union Buildings.
On arrival at the Union Buildings members of the parade were warmly welcomed by the crowds who were dazzled by the entertainment on show. The Parade is inclusive of all of South Africa’s cultures.
