Divisions in Zimbabwe’s main opposition party, MDC-T, continue despite reassurances of unity from Acting president Nelson Chamisa.

Party leadership has been at loggerheads since the passing of its president, Morgan Tsvangirai, last month.

Chamisa spoke to the SABC in Harare – saying only a few individuals are trying to divide the organization. He says those who are saying he is not a legitimate acting president are in the minority.

Chamisa is confident that MDC-T will do well in the national elections later this year. He also told SABC News foreign editor, Sophie Mokoena that former President Robert will for the first time vote for the opposition.
