The case against three suspects arrested for possession of ivory in the Northern Cape has been postponed by the Kuruman magistrates court.

Hawks spokesperson Philani Nkwalase says the three, Riaan Malgas, Mothusi Tshibithi and Albert Mosimanyane were arrested at the Kuruman airport last Friday.

Nkwelase says Malgas and Tshibithi were R5 000 bail each.

Mosimanyane has been remanded in custody due to another pending matter in court.

Nkwelase says the three are expected to appear in court on Thursday.
