Multi-award winning Afro Pop star Ringo Madlingozi says he is humbled to be among artists that will be performing at the ninth edition of the Buyelekhaya Pan African Music festival in East London on Sunday.

The festival will have a mixture of emerging and established artists from Eastern Cape and other provinces.

He will share a stage with other African  artists including  Zahara, Amanda Black, Berita, Ntando and Vusi Nova.

Madlingozi says music lovers can expect what he terms “an explosive performance” from him.

“Buyelekhaya is a festival where I get to perform with younger artists, people who are feeling the music  differently from  the way I feel. I get something from them when they perform,” he says.

“It’s  all about  that interaction, having different genre of music under one roof. My fans can expect fireworks when I get on stage.”.

Madlingozi  says he’s looking forward to performing in East London and to perform for the people.

Founder of the Buyelekhaya Pan African Music Festival Nomahlubi Mazwai says it’s all systems go for the 9th annual festival.

Mazwai has assured music lovers that they will get value for their money.
