South African businesswomen want President Cyril Ramaphosa to explain his administration’s agenda on increasing women’s participation in the economy.

The Business Women’s Association of South Africa has organised a dialogue with the President in Johannesburg.

The aim of the dialogue is to look at ways of getting more women into public procurement.

The association’s former president Dr. Namane Makgau says they expect Ramaphosa to update them on what government is doing to ensure the full empowerment of women.
