The police have uncovered a drug manufacturing lab and seized drugs valued at one-million-rand in Brakpan east of Johannesburg.
Acting on a tip-off, police pounced on a house and found huge quantities of the drug CAT.
Ekurhuleni Metro police’s Wilfred Kgasago says one person was arrested.
“One lady who has a baby was arrested. She claimed that the drugs or laboratory belonged to her husband, whose phone could not be picked up when we tried it and then the lady was arrested and charged with possession of narcotics and suspicion of manufacturing of narcotics as well as distribution of narcotics at the Brakpan police station.
She is expected to appear in court on Friday.
