Boucher disappointed with the Proteas

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Proteas coach Mark Boucher says he is disappointed with the national team’s performance in the third Test underway at St George’s Park in Port Elizabeth.

The Proteas have failed to inspire confidence in the face of an English onslaught, having been bowled out for 209 runs in the first innings and were 102 for six at stumps on Sunday. The Proteas are still 188 runs short of avoiding an innings defeat.

Despite his disappointment, Boucher believes that they still have a chance to save the series despite their woeful batting.

The former Proteas wicketkeeper has also said that conditions at the Port Elizabeth venue have made things difficult for his players.
