Bosch happy to be back in a familiar role as Sharks take on Pumas

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Curwin Bosch is glad to be back in the No. 10 jumper. The 22-year-old featured heavily at full-back under former Sharks Coach Rob Du Preez, but has now returned to the role of pivot under new boss, Sean Everitt for the Currie Cup.

Bosch, who has two Springbok caps to his name, says his experience in the No.: 15 jersey has benefitted his game.

The Sharks were given a huge wake-up call in the first round of the competition when they were beaten by the Griquas at home.

They then bounced back well to down a strong Western Province side at Kings Park.

Bosch admitted that a lot of their issues in the opening game, came down to individual errors, and says it is something they have addressed.

After beating Province, the team enjoyed a bye week and now head to Nelspruit to face the Pumas this Friday.

The Pumas are yet to win this season, having lost all three of their games so far. But while the score lines did not read in their favour they showed tremendous fight against the Golden Lions, Griquas and also ran the Blue Bulls close.

Bosch says they are well aware of the threat that they pose at the Mbombela Stadium.
