Black Leopards FC will seek to end the five-game winless run when they host rivals, Baroka FC in an Absa premiership encounter at the Thohoyandou stadium on Wednesday evening.

This will be the first Leopards game without club technical director, Stefano Cusin.

Cusin, who was appointed three months ago, parted ways with the Thohoyandou based club last week.

Leopards’ spokesperson, Berry Ramunenyiwa, says they will use the home ground advantage to leap off from bottom of the log.

“We are very happy for the Limpopo derby and we are looking forward to a beautiful game of football and come out victorious in the game. The matter regarding him and us came out before time but it was an amicable departure he is not with Black Leopards FC anymore”.

However, Baroka FC spokesperson, Richard Mashabane says they want to maintain their unbeaten record against Leopards when the two sides meet in the Limpopo derby on Wednesday night.

“Its going to be a very tough game, it is a battle of two chairmans.  We are looking forward to win this game, we know playing Black Leopards in their home ground is like your visiting Mayweather in USA; it is not going to be an easy game but we are ready, Talent Chawapiwa is back in the team”.
