New kid on the block, Benni McCarthy has won his first title after joining the ABSA Premiership, in his second stint as a coach of Cape Town City.
The former Bafana Bafana star McCarthy led his team to their first ever 2018 MTN8 title victory.
They beat SuperSport 4-1 in a dramatic penalty shootout.
It’s City’s first piece of silverware since 2016, when they beat SuperSport United in the Telkom Knockout.
